Before & After

Transforming Ordinary Into Extraordinary

Creating a great bathroom is creating a great escape; a personal space that you want to be in.  There are so many options for today’s bathrooms, from bath tubs that keep the water warm to other features that make bathing a relaxing delight. Your options are boundless.

The Oak Kitchen – Before & After

A few years back we had reconfigured the double over cabinet. It has an oven with a microwave above it. The oven had quit working and she really wanted double ovens. We re-worked the cabinet to fit the double ovens and reconfigured the island cabinet to accommodate a drawer microwave. We added spice pull outs on each side of the microwave. It’s been a huge hit!

The lines of the oak cabinets were so great already. It would have been a shame to pull them all out and redo them. We painted them out and added interior drawers in the bottom cabinets, so that they functioned better. This kitchen has a sun room, dining area and hearth room. We painted everything in these spaces and it looks like we put in a new kitchen. It turned out to be one of our favorite transformations!

Egress Window – Before & After

As a designer and licensed contractor, we were able to help transform this space from design through construction. Before we started there was no window and no natural light.

This is outside view of the egress window in basement.  This really opens up the space and brings in so much light. These changes make the space so much more usable!

Storage Cabinet – Before & After

This desk area sat off from the kitchen and it ended up being a catch all for everything when they entered their house from the garage. It was just not a good space for them

This new cabinet matches the cabinetry in the kitchen, which was also painted out with the same backsplash. The right side of this cabinet is open from the side and gives the family a place to hang jackets, backpacks and shoes, which keeps all that stuff off the floor. They are loving it!

We removed the desk and cabinet from the original kitchen and added a second pantry with full extension drawers.  We added full extension drawers to all the lower cabinetry.  Added larger crown and light molding as well.  Another great Transformation!

Before Fireplace…needs some updating!

This is a “she space”.  She is a crafter and asked me to design a cabinet that would give her storage for wrapping paper and scrap booking.

This is s HUGE Transformation. We added moldings and completely transformed this fireplace with a travertine surround and hearth. Another great Transformation!

This is the finished cabinet with cubbies to hold wrapping paper and a place for everything crafting!

The customer never liked the embalance of this wall.

We were able to copy the book case on the left and duplicate it on the right.  We put new doors on both cabinets and added new hardware.  We also softened the brick fireplace for a complete update.  Great Transformation!

The original kitchen.  This one was a complete remodel.  We took it down to the studs, removed a load barring wall and so much more!  Fabulous Transformation!

Crazy Transformation!  Is this really the same space?  Yes!
